We’re accepting donations of goods to sell at the yard sale until July 19. Have items you no longer need? This is a perfect opportunity to declutter while supporting a fantastic cause. Please drop off donations at Vail or Miller Ranch Child Care Centers or outside 436 Pine Street. Every item donated and sold helps us move closer to opening the Minturn Family Enrichment Center, a vital resource for local children and families.
Volunteer Opportunity:
Our yard sale is entirely volunteer-run, and we need your help to make it a success! If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out to Sarah at sarah@eaglevalleychildcare.org to connect with our amazing volunteer event coordinator, Annie. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, support the community, and be part of something special. We’re looking for help with set-up, running the sale, and clean-up.
Minturn Market Stall:
While you’re out and about, be sure to visit our stall at the Minturn Market. We’ll be there sharing information about our programs and engaging with the community. At our booth, you can also participate in a collaborative community art project that explores the similarities and differences in how children see themselves and how their caregivers see them. This interactive project is a wonderful way to connect with others and celebrate the unique perspectives of our community’s children. The final art piece will become part of a silent auction to further support the Minturn Family Enrichment Center.
Why It Matters:
The proceeds from the yard sale will go directly towards funding the renovation and opening of the Minturn Family Enrichment Center. This center will provide essential early childhood education and family support services, fostering the growth and development of our youngest community members. Your participation in the yard sale, whether through donations, purchases, or volunteering, helps us build a brighter future for all of Eagle County.
