Liza Lopez, Miller Ranch Child Care Center Site Director

Liza is a Colorado native and has lived in the Vail Valley for 15 years. She has worked at Miller Ranch since 2008. Starting as an Infant teacher transitioning into a lead preschool teacher and now Site Director. Liza has worked Early Childhood field since 2004. She has an Associate of Applied Science with a major in Early Childhood Education in 2007 and earned a  Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University in April 2018.  She is also currently pursuing her Master of Education in Early Childhood Education. Liza is married and has four wonderful children who have all attended MRCC!

Sarah Foglesong, Executive Director & Vail Child Care Center Site Director

Sarah is a passionate educator and advocate for early childhood education and environmental education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Education and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Prescott College. She joined EVCCA in January 2022, and previously worked in the San Jacinto mountains of southern California where she helped students, campers, and visitors connect with nature and each other. Sarah loves providing educators with the training, tools, and support they need to bring nature-based learning into their classrooms as well as in finding ways to bring environmental education to young children and their families in diverse settings and circumstances.

Brandie Armijo, EVCCA Office Manager
